    Fleet update and bookings

    New for 2021 is another Quest expanding our Quest fleet to two. Our first Quest was bought in 2019 and has proved an invaluable boat for training as well as family sailing and day-tripping. We have also updated our Canadian canoe fleet with a 'Mad River Explorer' 16ft Canadian canoe (photo above) designation 'CC1` on our booking system.     Junior sailing 31st May - 4th June; reduced availability of club boats

    SGBA is running the first junior sailing course for 2021 from 31st May to 4th June. To maintain social distancing it will not be possible to book club boats including kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and motor boats during course hours.     Time to renew your SGBA membership for 2021/22

    We look forward to the new boating season with plenty of reasons to be optimistic; with Covid-19 cases declining and the rolling vaccination programme there is every reason to believe regulations will soon allow us to re-open the clubhouse and resume use of club boats.
