Loving the Lugger: Tips and Tricks for Sailing Scillabub
Scillabub, the SGBA's Drascombe Lugger, returned to the water in the last week of July and is now available for use via our online booking system . Scillabub was kindly donated to the club in 2018, and since then - after a restoration project led by Steve Goodchild - she has formed a key part of our fleet, enabling members to embark on longer voyages by sail, motor, or oars. Instructor training
SGBA's first RYA Dinghy Instructor Course began on 3 rd August with 5 candidates subjecting themselves to a Pre Course Assessment test which I am pleased to say all passed. The course itself will be held on 12 th , 14 th and 15 th August with the sailing sessions planned around high water times but not interfering with monitored sailing sessions.

Selected Club Boats Now Available for Member Use
