    Junior sailing 31st July - 4th August; avoid the clubhouse during start and end of each session

    Junior Sailing Course B is running from Saturday 31st July to Wednesday 4th August . The shore and launch area will be busy, particularly on Saturday and Wednesday so no club boats are available (except the Whitehall Skiff and Scillabub ) . On Sunday - Tuesday kayaks and canoes are bookable. We ask members to avoid being at Mill Point at the

    Covid update: More boats available and clubhouse now open

    The latest relaxation in Covid rules has enabled us to reopen the club. The changes are: The clubhouse is now fully open, including kitchen and club room. Showers, toilets and changing facilities are available for use once again, though use of each room remains restricted to 2 people at a time (unless all from the same household). You can now sail with friends outside your immediate bubble.

    RS Venture available for booking

    The club has been loaned an RS Venture. It is available through the booking system and is on a swinging mooring off the clubhouse. Will Howitt, our lead instructor, comments that before taking out the Venture you should be confident in a Quest: "Recommend Quest proficient if anything slightly more responsive with current unweighted centreboard and lighter GRP hull" Book here

    Fleet update and bookings

    New for 2021 is another Quest expanding our Quest fleet to two. Our first Quest was bought in 2019 and has proved an invaluable boat for training as well as family sailing and day-tripping. We have also updated our Canadian canoe fleet with a 'Mad River Explorer' 16ft Canadian canoe (photo above) designation 'CC1` on our booking system.
