Despite the wet weather on Sunday, 20 people joined Neil Millward to collect litter around the parish and foreshore. About 25 sacks were collected along with other non-baggable items of rubbish. The Stoke Gabriel Boating Association is pleased to be able to organise this contribution to the Great British Spring Clean, which is just beginning.

The existing concrete slipway in-front of the clubhouse is pitted and breaking up. We've decided to lay a new one to make it easier to launch and retrieve dinghies and kayaks as well as reducing wear and tear on trolleys and hulls. Our intrepid boat builders have been working since Autumn half term building our new Chester Yawl.
