SGBA organised parish litter pick
Despite the wet weather on Sunday, 20 people joined Neil Millward to collect litter around the parish and foreshore. About 25 sacks were collected along with other non-baggable items of rubbish. The Stoke Gabriel Boating Association is pleased to be able to organise this contribution to the Great British Spring Clean, which is just beginning.

Guest Speaker at AGM now confirmed.
Our 2020 AGM is set for 7.30 pm on Thursday 19 March. ( Important note: The Coronavirus crisis might well advance by then to cause us to consider postponing the AGM. Hopefully that will not be so. Work started renewing the slipway
The existing concrete slipway in-front of the clubhouse is pitted and breaking up. We've decided to lay a new one to make it easier to launch and retrieve dinghies and kayaks as well as reducing wear and tear on trolleys and hulls. We're also aiming to smooth the gradients to avoid sudden drop-offs. Work has started breaking up the old slipway to make way for the laying of a new one. We can

Red Admiral - a special addition to the SGBA fleet
Our intrepid boat builders have been working since Autumn half term building our new Chester Yawl.
