Calling all SGBA members with younger children!

Do you have children who would like to go sailing with other kids?

Have you wondered about how to connect with other families at the club?

On Sunday 14 May from 12.00, families with primary school aged children (or thereabouts) are invited to a BYO picnic lunch before the Sunday Boating session to connect with other families. This is a great way to socialise with other families, and to create a safe, fun, and collaborative environment for our young sailors!

SGBA members have also set up a WhatsApp group for families with younger children. This is a great way to find out when others are going sailing, as we all know that the more children sailing, the more fun it is for them! Even if you can't join on 14 May we highly encourage you to join the WhatsApp group, to meet other SGBA families with similar aged children. You can join using this link, or by scanning the QR code below.

The Sunday Boating session will run concurrently in its usual format, thanks (as always) to club volunteers. Members can book club boats as normal, through the online Calendar entry.

Whilst we will have a second rescue boat in operation to support the younger sailors on the water, parents must remain responsible for their own children at all times.
