AI Training Day 1
To qualify as an AI, candidates must complete RYA Stages 1–4, at least one advanced module, and two AI Training Days run by the club. They must also demonstrate role-model sailing and behaviour while helping on at least one Junior Sailing Course. It's a significant commitment that typically spans several years of sailing.
Our AIs are vital to the successful running of Junior Sailing Courses — events that are so popular it sometimes feels like they take up every available dinghy (and every square inch!) of the club.
Even more exciting is that becoming an AI is the next step on the pathway towards becoming an RYA Dinghy Instructor.
Please only book if you have been selected as an AI in Training. Please contact jscoordinator@sgba.org.uk if you would like to become an AI in Training.
Existing AIs can also join to gain additional experience.
