Cancellation Policy. April 2026
We hope that that you won't need to cancel, we'd much rather you rebook onto a later course if possible.
If you do need to cancel, please email your desire to cancel (clearly indicating the participant name/s and course name and date) to:
> Bryan at chiefinstructorsail@sgba.org.uk for sailing courses or
> Mark at mflint21@yahoo.com for power courses or
> John at jscoordinator@sgba.org.uk for junior courses or
> Richard principal@sgba.org.uk for anything not covered by the above.
In the event of cancellation by you or any member of the party or the whole booking, the following charges will apply:
More than 4 weeks prior to course/hire a full refund or credit note will be given less a £5 admin fee.
Between 4 and 2 weeks prior to the course/hire, 50% of the fee will be refunded or a credit note issued.
Less than 2 weeks prior to the course/hire; no refund will be given.
In the case of nonattendance then a refund will not be available.
In the event that Stoke Gabriel Boating Association has to cancel a course due to unsafe adverse conditions or not enough people on the course to make it viable to run, then an alternative date will be offered. If this cannot be arranged Stoke Gabriel Boating Association will issue a full refund.
