Club BBQ and evening sail/paddle

A club BBQ with an added twist - you can only get to the BBQ by boat.

The area around the clubhouse is in the shade in the evening so to make the most of the evening sun we are moving the BBQ venue to the woodland foreshore opposite the clubhouse. For added excitement high tide on Friday 27th May is 17:22 and the dam will be covered; members will have to take a craft over to the BBQ. No need to book we have reserved the following for the evening:

• Family and individual SUPs
• Whitehall Skiff
• 2 Quests
• Dibber
• 6 Picos
• 4 Bugs (they work well as rowing boats)
• 1-4 Single SOT kayaks
• 1-2 Double SOT kayaks

It is a bring your own BBQ, but we may have a limited quantity of beer for those who arrive early. All club members invited. Booking not required, just turn up. Feel free to enjoy an evening sail or paddle, however there will be no formal safety boat in operation.

Remember your buoyancy aids.
