Head of The Dart Race » Day 1

The Head of the Dart Race takes place on Saturday 9th April from Totnes and Sunday 10th April from Dartmouth

SGBA will provide an SGBA Safety boat and a support boat on each day covering the course from Bow Creek entrance to Blackness Rock.

• Safety boat crews to be briefed at Stoke Gabriel Quay before departing to their start point
• An Emergency first aid vehicle and team will be on the quay at Stoke Gabriel for both races
• SGBA safety boats will each have a dedicated radio phone for race coordination

Saturday race Giggs and Skiffs, est 45 craft. Start from Totnes at 1230; SGBA Safety boats to be on station at the entrance to Bow Creek by 1230

Sunday race Single and double sculls, est 60 craft. Start from Dartmouth at 1030; SGBA Safety boats to be on station of Blackness Rock by 1030
