Dinghy Racing (Quest practice)

One of a series of races for all members running for 6 consecutive Saturdays.

These will be run on a weekly basis and designed for all sailors competent at sailing a triangle. Choose who you sail with or go single handed, just book the boat that suits you and we will work out the handicap and start time. Designed to last for an average of 45 - 60 mins the races will take a pursuit race format, which means slower boats start first and the quicker boats start a specific number of minutes later. If sailor's abilities are the same, all boats should finish at the same time, so despite using PY handicaps, whoever is over the line first is the winner.
