Junior Sailing Course B 2022

Junior Sailing Course B - RYA Stages 1 -4 designed for 9 to 14 year olds.

Bookings will open in June, or earlier if there is excessive demand for the previous course. You will need to have a 2022 membership covering the course participant. Eight year olds may be able to succeed on the course if they are confident both in and on the water, i.e. be good swimmers and use to the rocking and rolling inevitable in a small dinghy.

In addition to the RYA Stage 1 - 4 bookings we are also asking for Assistant Instructors and trainee Assistant Instructors to book in to the course so that we record parental consent and medical information for under 18s.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM 50 METRES and must wear buoyancy aids that fit well and conform to RYA standards.

In order to run the event we require parents/guardians to provide 3 sessions of volunteer time per child. Volunteers for essential key roles for all 5 days may be given access to priority booking.
