PB1 (02) Start Powerboating
RYA PB1 - the entry level to Powerboating.
The course provides a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats and will be conducted in one of the SGBA safety boats, finalizing with an RYA PB1 certificate endorsed for displacement boats. The day will start with a short introduction to boating followed by a day predominantly based on the water where not only the practical skills will be learned, but most of the theoretical knowledge will also be gained and put into practice.
Aim: To teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats
Pre-Entry Requirements: No previous knowledge required
Duration: One day
Ratio: The ratio of students to instructor will not exceed 3:1
Minimum Age: 8 years old.
