RYA Day Skipper Theory

A comprehensive introduction to chartwork navigation meteorology and the basics of seamanship. Invaluable for learning how to start making decisions on board and if you are considering taking the Day Skipper practical course.

Pre-Entry Requirements: Some practical experience is desirable.

Duration: 40 hours plus exam time (over 5 days with exams on 6th day)

Day skipper theory course run over 6 consecutive Fridays. There is a maximum of 6 places on this course. We do require a minimum of 3 people to run this course.
Course includes tuition, theory pack & certificate. Please bring a note book, pens, pencils, laptop/tablet etc.
