The RYA First Aid course is a whole day training course taught by Tracey Cunningham an inspirational trainer whose enthusiasm will keep your attention for the full day. The course fee is £55 inclusive of RYA First Aid book, certificate, lunch and refreshments. The RYA First Aid course is also valid as a "work place" first aid certificate. The RYA course emphasises water related situations and teaches essential life saving skills.

There are a maximum of 12 places on each course.

Certificates are valid for three years. If you already have a certificate please check the expiry date to ensure it is valid for the 2020 season. It is compulsory for Instructors to hold a valid certificate. It is desirable that Safety Boat helms and OODs have First Aid training. In fact Tracey would say that everyone should be trained in these life saving skills.
