Naming & Launch of "Red Admiral"
Published 09:50 on 22 Mar 2020
Our Chester Yawl "Red Admiral" was officially named and launched yesterday (Saturday) afternoon in windy conditions by Vice-Commodore Julian and the build team led by Steve Goodchild.
She is located on the ground floor of the club house and is now available for member* use - currently only as a single hander.
Please remember to sign her in/out so that the club can keep tabs on usage and take care on the rocky foreshore when launching or recovering - her wooden hull and shiny red paint could be easily damaged. A pair of wheels is located on the transom and these should be clicked down for launch/recovery, and clicked up whilst on the water.
