Saturday racing (all invited)

Saturday 10th November bought little wind, but enough to hold 2 short dinghy pursuit races just off Mill Point.
17 competitors in 14 boats made for some close if not exciting races.
The fastest boat giving the slowest a 13 minute head start in the second race, meant the finish time was the same for everyone, calculating positions by place on the water after the set race duration.
There was less than two boat lengths between 1 & 3rd place at the finish, while slightly lower down the ranks there was a photo finish for 7th and 8th.
Well done to the 8 adults and 11 juniors that made the afternoon worthwhile.
Next week will be a 9:30 start, all are invited so book your place and boat on the calendar and let's hope for good weather.
