Junior sailing 31st May - 4th June; reduced availability of club boats
Published 09:41 on 28 May 2021
SGBA is running the first junior sailing course for 2021 from 31st May to 4th June. To maintain social distancing it will not be possible to book club boats including kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and motor boats during course hours. Unless you are involved in junior sailing please avoid Millpoint during these times:
- 31 May, 07:15 - 14:15
- 1 June, 08:15 - 15:15
- 2 June, 09:15 - 16:15
- 3 June, 10:45 - 17:15
- 4 June, 11:45 - 18:15
You can however book boats, kayaks and canoes outside course times. As junior sailing is taking place during half term and demand for boats is likely to be high we have created some specific booking periods that maximise the booking times available to members:
- "After Junior Sailing Monday 31st" 14:30 - 18:00.
- "After Junior Sailing Tuesday 1st June" 15:30 - 18:00.
- "After Junior sailing Friday 4th June" 18:30 - 23:00.
- As well as the standard evening slot 18:00 - 23:00.
Scillabub is bookable during the course, the rationale being that rigging occurs out on the water and so there is minimal interaction with those on the course. The Whitehall Skiff is also available for booking during the course.
