Constructing a new centre board for the Wanderer

Unfortunately one of the Wanderer's centre boards snapped during the school sailing sessions. A replacement from the manufacturers turned out to be ridiculously expensive. Fortunately we did not have to mortgage the clubhouse as Steve Goodchild volunteered to build a new one from scratch. Marvel at the craftsmanship on display in the series of photos as a new centre-board emerges from a rough plank of Sapele Mahogany.
